ORLEN Service Česká republika s.r.o. as a member of Capital Group ORLEN performs complex, fast and continuous maintenance of production units and technology installations of the ORLEN Unipetrol Group in the field of static, mechanical and electrical installations, measuring, and regulation. The Pipeline and Equipment Inspection and Detection Department is also active within the Division.

For the maintenance work, complete facilities for service, specialized workshops directly in the production units, warehouse management and utility area for the legislative support of the company's activities are provided in the premises of ORLEN Unipetrol RPA s.r.o. and Spolana s.r.o.
For maintenance work, there are specialised workshops in the premises directly at the production units. The workshops are equipped with portal cranes 5 - 12.5t, forming machines (hydraulic pipe bender, roll bending machine, hydraulic press brake), machine tools (lathes, milling cutters, drilling machines), indexing machines (shears for cutting sheet metal 10/3000mm, sawing machines up to 350mm diameter).
Across the company, we employ a total of 316 maintenance workers in the field of static, mechanical and electrical installations, measuring, and regulation with associated administration, technicians, and warehouse management.

Litvínov - Záluží Refinery
Modern complex refinery with high hydro-refining capacity, operating two crude oil distillation units, four conversion units and a range of technological devices for increasing the quality of primary distillation products. The overall annual processing capacity is 5.4 million tonnes of crude oil. Sulphurised crude oil is supplied to the refinery via the Druzhba or IKL oil pipelines. The main production program, which consists of automotive gasoline, diesel fuel, and LPG, also includes raw materials for the petrochemical production of ORLEN Unipetrol RPA, which operates at the same production site.
Besides these strategic products, other important products include fuel oils, asphalt, oil hydrogenates used in production of lubrication oils and elementary sulphur. The control of technological processes is concentrated in a modern control room providing a safe facility with state-of-the-art equipment for operators and technicians. Quality control is carried out in laboratories equipped with the latest technology.
Refinery in Kralupy nad Vltavou
Complex conversion refinery with a modern fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) unit, which was used to develop the original hydroskimming refinery with an annual processing capacity of 3.3 million tonnes of crude oil. The existence of the MTBE unit provides the ability to produce high-octane unleaded gasoline. The facilities implemented within the "Clean Fuels" programme enable production of low-sulphur and even sulphur free fuel. The Kralupy refinery is a producer of JET A1 aviation fuel, which is used at Prague's international airport.
The Kralupy refinery processes low-sulphur oil transported via the IKL / TAL oil pipelines from Terst through Vohburg to Nelahozeves and Moravian oil transported via the Druzhba pipeline.
Energetika Litvínov
Production of high-pressure steam in high-pressure steam boilers at the T700 heat production plant. The produced steam is used to generate electricity in turbogenerators and to cover the consumption of technological steam by customers of Orlen Group Unipetrol's production units. The facility is located on block 11 in Chempark Záluží.
Product(s): Steam at pressures of 9.4; 2.4; 0.7; 0.35; 0.12 MPa, electricity, unspecified products: hydro-mixture for technical reclamation, granulate with additives for open-pit mines and fly ash for concrete.
Petrochemistry Litvínov - Polyolefins
Production of polypropylene in granular form obtained from the ethylene unit is further processed in the polypropylene unit to produce polypropylene. On the polyethylene units (PE1, PE2, PE3), part of the ethylene from the ethylene unit is processed to form polyethylene.
In particular, the new PE3 polyethylene unit will help to increase the utilisation of the ethylene unit in the future and will contribute to greater interdependence of the Unipetrol Group's petrochemical and refinery production with the growing global demand for high-density polyethylene. Thanks to the new technology, Unipetrol supplies industrial segments such as the cosmetics or packaging industry. The new PE3 polyethylene unit has a production capacity of up to 270kt.
PVC Plant - Neratovice
Neralit polyvinyl chloride is produced by suspension polymerization of vinyl chloride in an aqueous environment in the presence of catalysts and suspension stabilizers. The resulting product is a fine, white, well-flowing powder consisting of grains with a narrow particle size distribution. The properties of Neralit, suspension PVC–powder, are dependent on the additives used in the polymerization, temperature regime of the polymerization, the method and intensity of stirring the suspension and a number of other factors acting during production. Neralit suspension PVC is shipped in powder form to processors who modify it for processing by adding necessary additives on their own mixing or granulating installation. The different types of Neralit are suitable to produce a wide range of products - from hard profiles, boards, tubes, and foils, through electrical insulation and drainage pipes, various technical parts and packaging, to hoses, profiles, foils, footwear materials and cable insulation. Neralit is available in five different versions with numerical designation 581, 601, 652, and 682.
Caprolactam Plant – Kaprolaktam Neratovice
Caprolactam (HEXAHYDRO-2H-AZEPIN-2-ONE; 2-OXOHEXAMETHYLENEIMINE), is supplied in the form of flakes or melted. It is the basic raw material to produce polyamide 6, which is further used in the textile or plastics industry. Polyamide fibres are widely used in the production of silon, nylon, or perlon. Due to their flexibility, they are mainly used in the production of sportswear, but also other sports equipment - for example for water sports, winter sports or mountaineering and climbing. Caprolactam is readily biodegradable.
SPOLSAN® - industrial fertilizer
Industrial fertilizer, formed in the production of caprolactam, containing nitrogen in ammonium form and also sulphur in the form of sulphate anion. It also contains a small admixture of ammonium nitrate, whose concentration does not exceed 1.5%. In recent years, particularly in the context of power plant desulphurisation, ammonium sulphate has become an increasingly important fertilizer containing sulphur and ammoniacal nitrogen. It is used for direct fertilisation or as a raw material fto produce sulphur-containing compound fertilisers.

Sulphur oxide solution in sulphuric acid, concentration of sulphur oxide is min. 25%, it is used in the chemical industry
